The Romanian Brothers (More AK Pr0n)

First, allow me to begin with the latest addition to the family.

He's a Classic Arms Romanian Guard build. Purdy.

Took me forever to get the cosmoline off of the buggin' bayonet.

Here are the Romanian brothers: Home built from "G" kit, WASR 10, Classic Arms "G"

Something tells me my couch will not be welcome in the state of California.

Has anyone else had trouble getting their mags seated right with that vertical foregrip in the way? It seems like the grip bumps the mag so I can't rock it into the receiver.

Strange; I wouldn't think you should have a problem. My AK SAR doesn't have the VFG so not an issue for me. One would think it wouldn't be an issue or they wouldn't have made them. Maybe theirs some sort of trick or angle for rocking it in.

Maybe I'm just a retard. Maybe I rock my mags more than I have to. *Shrug* Not sure. I'll have to experiment more to be certain.

Every time I hit this thread, I'm tempted to change my user name to "Assault Couch" because it's awesome.

You don't need to rock it very much, most folks angle them pretty hard because they've never had to deal with a front grip, and thats what you usually see in the movies...You angle it in just enough to get into the front of the slot, steel 40rd mags will sometimes hit, poly mags don't...on my range slut, I use a Hungarian AMD-65 steel lower hand guard with a common Bulgy grip instead of the Hungarian version. I have the front grip turn 'normal' (reverse of the Hungarian) and all poly 5,45 mags clear with no problem, the Polish and Romanian 5,45 mags bump it pretty good when I put them in or take them out...

Here it is with a Saiga gas tube, M1 FH, and Hungarian grips before I put 'normal' grips on it....no comments on my wife's homemade zebra blanket, its scary enough to look at..
