22lr conversion of an AK
I'm just curious,
Does anyone make stuff for converting an AK to 22lr ??

Links would be great, if you have them. Even if it's a DIY project. I can envision the process, but am wondering what's out there.

Don't even worry about converting it. get one of these .22LR AK with Fixed Stock

I did think about that route. Thus far I'm just looking at available options.

Keep an eye on Century's site, unlike the one posted above, the real .22lr AKs are coming back..the Romanian WaSR 22....

There will also be this option at some point (maybe).

GERMAN SPORT AK-47 RIA 22LR 16.5" BLK 15-RD

Personally, I'd see if you can locate a WASR22 for the price of that GSG... I've heard mostly good things about the GSG-5.. I'm tempted to get one, but not tempted enough to drop 500 on one. If they come out with a GSG-G36, I'm all over it.

Thats a sweet looking rifle there. And I would have no problem dropping $500 as long as you get the blonde as well.
