Houston Tx made AKs???

I didn't get the name of the company, but I saw some at the Dallas gun show today. The 600 pricetag upset me a little, but for a new AK, I thought it wasn't bad.
I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything about them. The receiver is made by them and they are compliant for hi cap mags.

the only reason I am curious is that finding a cheap AK is almost impossible for me. I found a well used WASR for 450,, and the Saigas I see are around 450+.

Any info is appreciated.

are they RPG arms or ELK tool & die ?

i have bought rifles from both companies and all work .. but i think Elk tool & die is better. military gun supply are good people .. i got two of my kits from them and also have some good ak's at their table

Thanks for the link!

They were at the show today. I am not interested in the 223 saiga, and I didn't see that AK. I guess I will have to go back tomorrow. lol

I would still like any info on the Houston company. I will get the company name, and do some research on it for the rest of you, if no one knows who I am talking about.

leper,

I think the company is RPG Arms. I just bought a gun from them today in Dallas at the gun show. check out my post "RGP Arms". Hopefully I didn't make a mistake in my purchase.
