WASR Tapco setup installed....pics

I finally got everything in and installed. I changed my mind a few times on parts, so it took a while. The wood on my WASR was not to great looking to begin with, so I think it is a great improvement. The stock fits my shoulder a little better than the wood did I think since it is fatter. It drops the buttplate down, which makes the sights feel higher. And my wife likes that she can make it shorter when she shoots it. The "Fusion" forgrip feels good in the hand, and has the hidden rail. This one can have the synthetic furniture, cause my plans for my other AK is a bit more traditional. What do you guys think?

now thats an ak i actually like

im not a fan of wood at all, i really like that set up, well except for the collapsible stock. i would prefer a stock that folded. i dont like the fact that the ar-15 has the buffer tube that prevents the use of foldable stocks and so thats just one feature i wouldnt pass on to an ak47 but it does look great

You can put a folder on ARs.

What was the total investment there? I need to get a AK before I can't anymore.

Sweet I have close to the same setup on my G code... switching to the same front guard so I can vertical grip it. only thing I would suggest is the saw pistol grip.

Yeah, now that's the look I like!

I'm waiting for my receivers to get here for me to finish my Rommy G build with black Tapco furniture. I went with the same stock but with a SAW grip and Galil handguard. That should make for a very evil BR!

Like the OP, my next one is gonna be a traditional build - I like both styles and couldn't make my mind up which one I liked more

Besides, the wife wants to have one too - YEAH!

Phil
