I Tapco'd out my AK as well...i put the side folder, galil style hand gaurd, and saw pistol grip.
I myself am not a fan of fore grip handles like you used...for some reason i never end up holding onto it (i hold between the mag and body of the gun more). Looks sharp though!!

Thanks everyone for the comments. To answer one of the questions, I really like this type mag. It is a Bulgarian style synthetic waffle mag, but it has metal feed lips which make all the difference in the world to me. It is also a little fatter so there is no more wobbleing. Someone else asked what the total investment was. I had to think about it because I changed my mind so damn much on parts but I think it was around $125-$130. Well worth it in my opinion.
I tryed out the Gallil style front end and didnt like it to much. It is a little to wide, and I like the two piece look even if its not wood furniture. I have read bad things on the Gallil style about how it gets really soft and flimsy when the gun heats up after a while. I have never tryed a vert front grip on a gun, but it felt comfortable. So I guess Im gonna see cause Im goning to test this bad boy out at the range today and tommarrow. The saw style grip didnt feel good to me ether. But a lot of people really like it so it must be ok. It just felt a little to out of place for me. Not that a collapsable stock on a AK isnt, but whatever..... |

Just got back from the range. Ive fired it twice now with the front vert grip. Its different, but still ok. Im not so sure about the stock. It is comfortable, and the adjustments are cool, but it feels a little weak. Its a little more "loose" feeling than the M4's I have shot before, while the rest of the gun feels VERY solid. Probably because it is all poly. It deffenetly feels like a weak link on the gun. Ill keep it for a while since I spent the money, but I might check out the Tapco solid (non-folding) stock one day.

I use photobucket.com. Once you load a pic up, you will see four blocks under the pic. Copy and paste the one labled "direct link" in the picture box (click the little mountain square thing on the top left of the quick reply section). You have to delete the "http://" that comes up in it by doing it this way (it will always be there when you click that box, but the direct link that you copied already has it so you dont need the default one), but its the way I do it. Sorry if this is a bit confusing, I will clarify anything if you need.

I was thinking about the tapco stock for my new g code and I'm glad to see that someone confirmed my thoughts that it would seem weak... while I haven't decided if I am going to change the stock to one like this, I'm glad to see there are better options than the tapco.
Great looking rifle though |

another thing about tapco stock sets..My friend has the tapco set and went through a drum pretty fast, the forend got really soft around the top of it. Another drum or even a couple mags maybe within a minute or two would have melted it I think.
They have some neat looking stuff though.
