Here's a few pics of my converted Saiga, I've been working on it for a while now and I'm debating on the muzzle brake, I'm leaning towards the Jtac compensator right now. What muzzle device do y'all recommend?

you can press that front sight off and press a new threaded FSB on there. same thing with your gas block but i think there is some machineing that goes along with that though.

TM, what stock and grips did you use? I've been looking at getting a 223 Saiga and doing enough to it to make it comfortable. I like the look you got there. Nice job.

I'll check into those, I was going to thread the barrel just didn't feel like dropping 80 bucks for tools just to use them once.

Thanks, The pistol grip is from Tapco the buttstock and the adapter are UTG I got them from centerfire systems, the slingmount is a yankee hill machine. Going to the gunshop tomorrow to pick up a single point sling for it.

Great looking Saiga man! Did you do the conversion yourself??

I just popped the cherry on my Saiga .308 today. I also ordered the conversion parts for it last night. Can't wait to have a converted .308.

Thanks, I did the conversion but I read up on it for about a week and read through the instructions and then read them again until I understood what needed to be changed. Gotta have a drill press and gotta have a dremel and if I did this again I'd definitely invest in some end mills.

You don't have to have a drill press. I did the entire thing with a dremel and a cordless drill. Mine came out just fine.

Taco, That is one sweet looking gun!! Now we just need to get it Duracoated with some cool pattern/colors and yippee skippee!
