Some items i will need for my AK

The day where me and my AK are united is drawing near (this thursday). I want to get a
  • recoil pad
  • hand grip
  • compensator
but i am not sure where do get all these from. Many of the sites i frequent have one or the items, some have 2, but the prices vary as well as shipping.

Any suggestions on where and what?

I am wanting to get an AK at the next gun show, in a couple of weeks. Is there some rule for American made parts on it? I keep seeing reference to USA compliance parts. I want to make sure that I get one that is ok for me to have.
Is that the same reason you are asking?

Recoil Pad? Why, there's no recoil.

Hand Grip....that's up to you if you don't like the looks of the one that came on it.

Compensator? I say let that fire trail fly..there is nothing quite like the red cloud burst from the short barrel of an AK as the sun is going down on the range......

Mine came with the Tapco G2 trigger group and I really like it. If you do any upgrades, I would really suggest the Tapco trigger.

I say leave it original, the way the AK gods intended and spend your money on ammo.

That's just me. Enjoy your new AK

i will upgrade the trigger on it. I know CAI uses crappy ones. the tapco solves the trigger slap issue i hear the WASR's are prone to. I will be honest, I do not like the grips at all...i got big hands, so i need a little more to grab onto. I've fired enough AK's to notice barrel rise and i will be getting a black jack buffer also. I need to make this evil guns friendly to my wife who is very petite. If she ever has to use it for something, I need her to be confident.

YeahYeah,
Have you seen these triggers ??
Red Star Arms Inc.
I have no idea if they are worth the price difference over a Tapco trigger ... But it's another option.

I'd replace the handgrip. They're OK but, I agree, I like something that fills my hand a little more.
