Tantal style brake wobble

I just picked up a tantal style break for my ak47..not 74. I shoot mostly left handed and the original slant brake was jammming the stock into my jaw which is tolerable for a mag or so but then it starts getting annoying.

Ok, I put the new tantal brake on and there is slight play in it. Is this ok?..
I can thread it a little bit more to stop the play but the lil pin thing wouldn't line up with the brakes pin indention and the holes in the compensator would be lined up wrong.

Basically i'm asking if this is ok, safe wise?..

define a 'little' play. 1/8" or less each side of centre is fine, a that allows for heat expansion. if it worries you, wrap the threads in Teflon tape to stop the wobble. Most American and Chinese made 74 style brakes fit loose. Why the reference between AK 47 and AK 74?? They use the same brake in either 14/1 or 24/1RH. And out of curiosity, why do you want a grenade launcher/brake (Tantal brake) combo??

It's just a very slight wobble I was worrying about. It is american and is probably normal. and now makes sense with the heat expansion thing you mentioned.

It's this actual brake in 14/1 I picked up from copes:

I shoot mostly left handed and I figured it would stop the jamming of the stock into my left jaw. please tell me it will . *rubs jaw*

It should, but if it doesn't, get a real AK-74 style brake (that brake in the pic is the Polish version of the '74 brake) and a 14/1 to 24/1 adaptor. I know for a fact that a true 74 style brake will.
