if you do end up having trouble, its usually because gs usually: the bolt on 5,56 AKs actually passes through the mag and if the feed lips are closed too much or the back of the mag stops the bolt it won't feed 100%. If you look at the back of any 5,56 AK mag, the square notch between the feed lips is larger than any other AK mag for this reason. The down side to 5,56 weapons is the case design of the round, its not tapered. I highly recommend polishing the chamber on any 5,56 and .308 weapon to help stop most extraction. The mag problem is caused by 2 things . Mag wobble is an issue with these guns, if there is alot of wobble, it will can affect feeding.
The 2nd most common issue is mag height. These guns feed from the mag straight into the chamber, sometimes they don't even hit the bullet guide-I have an Arsenal that has over 10,000rds to date and there are barely any marks on the bullet guide, but I also have one on a GT receiver that has about 5,000rds and the bullet guide is covered with copper reside and scratches-go figure . If the mag sits too low or to high (too high is the most common issue) it will jamb. High mags are easier to fix, just grind some of the locking tab (where it contacts the mag latch) to bring it down. For one that sits too low, you have to add material to the locking tab or try to find/make one that sits the mag a little higher.

thanks einheit, i guess i was pretty lucky and got a decent one, the gas block is a little crooked but its was hitting steel plates at 100 yards with no sight adjustments, plates are 12x12. i tested to see if the mag wobble would effect feeding and luckily it didnt. i held on to the mag a fired 5 shots with no feeding issues
