I just bought a BWK 92 sporter, its a norinco AK 47. my question is this:

ive been reading that bulgarian(?) waffle mags will work in my rifle is this true? does anyone have experience with this? also if anyone has any .223 norinco mags they would like to sell for a reasonable price let me know please.

Chinese receiver or American receiver?? Some times the Bulgy Waffle mags work fine, sometimes they need some fitting, sometimes they don't at all. Usually, when they don't fit, you can modify the 5.45 mags with a new follower, open up the feed lips, and take out the the little 'stop' in the mag so the rounds seat higher...easy and cheap to do, just requires labour and a little smarts....

Chinese receiver. any help would be awesome i got a good deal on the gun but cheapest i can find norinco mags is like $60. i've read in a few places that bulgie waffles work, but no one seems to know for sure. i have a good source for these at $22 each.
