I got a new Pink Fluffy Bunny!!! **Update: New Modifications**

The title caught your attention huh?? lol

I finally joined the AK family!!! I just got back from picking up a brand new 16" Saiga .308 rifle. I am really excited to finally have a .308 battle rifle and an AK all in one. I am really starting to like the feel of this rifle. The mags fit really solid and the overall finish is nice. I just need to get some lead to feed it!!

i really wish they would make the saiga in .308 and make it accept FN FAL mags .... i really really want one, but i dont want to have 10 mags that cost $50 each and a $450 gun, i would have more into the mags.

someone is russia listening, PLEASE BUILD IT !

they are a great value though for a new AK

I did a little modifying to my new Saiga .308 last night. I cut the front handguard to give it a little more style and added a rail and vertical grip. The next step is doing a pistol grip conversion on it.

Here are some pictures:

Before

After

Cool....it's definitely a Rifle, Black, and Evil. Yep, one nice-looking official EBR.

if you ever come across a link please posta link of the product, or PM me, if it was commerically available and $50 or less i would order me one of them bad boys up. The high mag cost is the only thing stopping me from ordering a saiga. I am hoping someone in russia wises up before they ever get banned.

I searched yahoo and google and saw mostly home made conversions, only one with good pics was a guy with G3 mags, and he used the orginal saiga mag top and mated that to a modded G3. To messy, to ugly, not reliable enough.

If i could feed FAL mags that i can get for $7 or less and feed reliable i would be in heaven.

To do a pistol grip conversion would that mean you need a new stock? If so I would be interested in the old one. Assuming it would work on my 7.62X39 saiga. I like the sights further from my face, so I don't want a pistol conversion, but I want that type of stock.

Maybe you'll take this in trade. Heres a guy that does saigas and aks.
I didn't see any in the sponsors dinzagg@yahoo.com (dinzag arms) Dinzagarms.com and Devin campbell devin_ct@yahoo.com

They were selling the most beautiful custom saiga12s I"ve ever seen. Send them an e-mail and if it works out contact me about that stock
