Well to totally hijack the thread I've got to show the good people here some of the rest of the family and handy work of the Poles. Here are the baby brothers of LUVMYSIGP225's and DMTWI's sisters. These are the P-64's, the upper left is a 1975 unissued, unfired triangled hammer, to the right is a 1972 round hammered frame with a 74 slide.(Finally got all the parts for assembly, just need to make the time.) Below it is my non-winter everyday carry 74 triangle hammer. And last but not least is a 72 round hammer with the sweetest little S/A pull that I own.

Ah, very nice pistol collection you have there manic! Our Polish buddies can sure turn out some nice firearms. In fact, this thread is starting to make me feel, well, a little Polish myself.

Didn't mean to make you jealous LUVMYSIGP225, Blue Jacket will get there eventually. I do love my Sigs though too. Have a couple of classics, one P220 in 45 of course, and the P226. Both are the old school folded slides from 1986. The 220 sees alot of holster time once the snow starts flying. I picked up one of the Sig Tac coats and use that quite a bit when outdoors for extended times.
I've been seriously considering the Tantal, just need to do some more research on the weapon and round. That is what you have there correct?

Got a couple more pics of the AK, we'll see how a closeup looks...

Polish built, circa 1979. Not sure what the other marks mean, serial number??

Actually, that is not a Tantal. It has a muzzle brake similar to a Tantal. I requested that brake when I ordered mine. I was shooting for the "Tantal-look". Mine is chambered in 7.62 x 39.

You are nuts carrying a 220. Way too big. I have carried my 220 and 226 on multiple occasions, and it drives me nuts. I stick with a shorty Glock or a HK P7M8.
