Classic Arms AK-47

I came across this website and I am strongly considering getting ROMAINIAN AK MILITARY TYPE T-6 like is shown on this website:
Classic Arms Inc.

My question is: Does anyone know anything about these guns? Has anyone dealt with them?

I was going to get one locally and put the poly furniture on it later but this would save me a good bit of money... I just want to know if this is a good idea to go this route.

Thanks

My friend has one of the G-code ones with the wooden furniture (no grip on the front) and it seems like a pretty decent shooter to me. I'm no einheit by any stretch, but it looked like a decent AK and my friend hasn't had any problems whatsoever with it.I'm thinking about ordering one with a case of ammo as a graduation present to myself (just hoping I can get the money together before they're gone).

Classic Arms is also a good place to do business with from what my friend has told me. Owner is a pretty nice guy and easy to deal with.

I bought one of their G codes a month ago and have shot it twice so far. Had no problems and the gun is in great condition. I couldn't be happier for the price. Also on a side note, when I bought mine I also got the 5 mag deal and the gun comes with 2 mags. When I recieved it it only had 6 mags. Called the next day and they said no problem and sent me an extra mag right away. I think it took 2 days to get to me. So Customer service is good from my experience. Great place to deal with all around IMHO. Hope this helps in making ur decision.

The place I get mine transferred at runs $20, and that seems to be about the norm. I've heard anywhere from $10 to $50 for a FFL to do a transfer.

i have been eyeing some of classic arms AK's i am still learning more about AKs, but i have read much praise in regard of classic arms, and wouldn't hesitate to send that guy some of my money, i am likey gonna order one of his $129 8mm mauser. I just bought a fn herstal .308 mauser last week and really dig it, i want an 8mm. I heard his are pretty nice, its a little shop family run kinda, a lil old fashioned website, not some major wear house. On a number of sks and FAL web forums classic arms gets high praise for service, and understating the condition of the arms, and over delivering.

I may get an SKS from him. the price is nice. the K98 Mausers are nice too -i've always wanted one.

His price on the "g" romanians are nice, but tack on shipping and FFL fees, their on par with what I can get out here.

They are great to deal with, I bought one of their HMG G codes awhile back and coulf not be more pleased with the gun or the company. They are definitely so of the good guys out there

I personally would save 30 bucks and go with the tactical G code but either will be great and go bang everytime you pull the trigger

I saw they had some ak's for $379. They don't have a compensator on them. Can you put one on later or are they tacked to the barrel?.
