Sar-1

Does any one have experience with the SAR-1 how good it is or how bad? Is it considered a AK variant and does it use AK magazines? Thanks for any help.

I have one of those!

I love mine! The unit is built very well, and the finish is very even and complete. I have put over 3K rounds of everything from Wolf HP's to reloads and high fragmentation rounds through it without a hiccup. Yes it will take regular high capacity mags. Just be sure to check for front sight cant and break the weapon down and check the internal parts before you purchase, if the Third World can teach 6 year olds to take care of them you can do it too!

If you have any more ?'s feel free to P.M. me.

way better than a WaSR, only difference between a SAR and military issue Romanian AK is the 'go' setting'.

SAR 1 hard to beat, mine has got some serious trigger slap after a few hundred rounds but is crazy accurate. I was hitting clay pigeons standing from 75 yards with it.
