Okay, I'm told that in order to take the butt stock off of my WASR10, I need to take my pistol grip off. But this damned grip is in there pretty tight. How the hell are you supposed to take the pistol grip off without beating the snot out of your rifle?

I'm looking down the receiver and it doesn't look like anything is particularly stuck to the wood. But it's obvious this piece of crap isn't coming apart.

I don't know jack about AK's; but since you are wrestling with it did you try holding it down for a 3 count?

No you do not have to take the pistol grip off.This is what I did,wrap the stock in a towel and take a hammer and beat the sh!t out of it.Hold the rifle at about 45 degrees,hit it where it fits into the rifle then turn it over and do the same thing.It will finally loosen up,and wahla.
