1950 Tula Russian SKS rearsenal...looking for advice on a asking price
I bought this SKS around 1994 and put about 20 rouonds though it.
(Nowadays I know I should had never fired it) Kinda in a pickle for cash so am looking to sell this carbine. What I do know is it is a "rearsenaled" 1950, Tula armory, Russian with laminate stock. It has a black bolt, cleaning kit in butt plate, cleaning rod, sling, bayonet and matching numbers...The number "4" is stamped on the front sight. Sights can be stamped from numbers 1-5 but I don't know what it means. I have many more pixs if one needs to see. Just trying to get a feel of what I should get for a fair asking price to put in the classifieds. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice Russkie. I've got one similar from '54 with a conventional wood stock, and the going rate for that seemed to be between $325-$395. Probably a good place to start.

Thanks Dan, a little research on the net also concurs with your qoute.
I just found out I can not list it in the classifieds because one needs at least 100 post and 30 days as a member and I only have a few post since January so I don't qualify to list it for sale here on this forum... Going to go sulk now in my corner $ 390.00 negotiable. |

I had one identical to the one pictured. Very nice condition. Sold it for $300 w/250rnds of ammo. The guy who bought it claimed it was probably the nicest condition SKS he's seen and offered to sell it back to me if I ever felt a need to just have it back again.
