AK kit ordered-now what do I need?

Ordered a Rommy kit from J&G sales. Will order a Spud receiver to go with it.

Do I need a trigger group for it?
What do you guys make of the Romanian national guard style forearm with vertical grip?

Will I need anything else?

TIA

Phil

The tapco G2 trigger set will add up to 3 USA parts and is mucho worth it. American made furniture and a USA made flash hider will complete what you might need to be 922 compliant. Actually if you use a USA made flash hider you can go with 2/3 USA furniture.

Rivets and screws don't count. I believe what was intended was the question: Are you going to use rivets or screws. Gas Pistons do count but it really comes down to what you want to invest to get your parts count. Furniture and a Tapco G2 trigger set are about the cheapest way out.

Yes, rivets or screws for the build- trigger group, furniture and a gas piston get you into compliance (furniture=3, TG=3, gas piston=1 so you can use the original muzzle device and combloc mags)

$149.95 for matching hand select and s&h of $16.20 incl 2 mags. Quite a good deal I think.

Phil dont buy any rivets I have a set for you. Buy the tapco g2 double hooker and we will adjust it so it has a super sweet trigger pull and will bump like crazy. Get the g2 double hook trigger, us piston, and a us muzzle brake that combined with the receiver and you are good to go 922r wise. I have all the crap you need to refinish the rommy wood as well. Copes has the g2 triggers for 28.99 and $10 for a muzzle brake and about another $12-$15 for a piston. If you do order through copes let me know there are a few things I will throw on the order and split shipping with you or you can add it to my order. Give me a call sometime soon.
