I'm looking to get my first ak47 pretty soon. It's primary purpose would be an HD weapon (to supplement my Mossy 500). Besides, I always liked them. Anywho, would I screw myself over if I bought a WASR 10? From what I've read, they seem to be pretty solid and reliable, even if there is minor things like trigger slap, ect. The price is good too, but I also know you get what you pay for, so I guess that's what's holding me back. I like the looks of Century Arms' Romanian G Tactical (maybe perhaps with a side-folder).

I'd rather ask from you guys 'cause after lurking here for the last year, y'all are easier to talk to in addition to the good insight.

A WaSR will do just fine, just scrutinize it before you purchase it. If its mail order to your FFL, send it back if you don't like the looks or if it has quality issues....

+1 on above statement .. i have different kinds of ak's range from cheap to expensive and they all work fine .. just check make sure it looks good .. i bought mine from a store and mostly gun shows so i can check it out there
