Century Arms Yugo AK

Found another AK I might buy. It's a Century Arms Yugo with underfolding stock NIB. How is the quality of these? What's a good price on them?

I bought one recently without knowing it was a Century Arms gun until it arrived. When I took it out of the box and saw the Century logo, I had a moment of fear. Century guns are kinda hit or miss. My fears were unfounded. This was no WASR. My Yugo M70 B2 underfolder is beautiful and well made. I have ZERO complaints.

What price did you pay? Was it NIB?

I love the yugos. They are probably the best of the parts kit guns in my opinion. I think $500 is a fine deal if you got $60 worth of ammo in the deal.

Ya but Classic Arms sells the yugo with the wood for $430. If I pay an extra 50 I get
hard case
bayonet
cleaning kit
leather sling
extra mag

I don't think so, not an M70s...Polish AK-47s, Bulgarian AKS/AK-74s, Hungarian AKM-47s, Hungarian AMD63s and 65s, and the early import Romanian 'G' kits. the Yugos have alot of catching up to do. Besides the M95s, very few Yugos were new untouched kits, not demils.....

ClassicArms is reporting that Century is out of yugo kits, so the price will go up. I have seen the M70AB underfolder for sale locally for $599. At the time ClassicArms was selling it for $429 so I bought that one.

that means your firearm never had the potential to kill anyone before you got it
