Saiga 7.62

I found a Saiga 7.62x39 at the TX gun show today, it looked so lonely just sitting there so I had to pick it up and give it a good home. I'm debating on doing the pistol grip conversion but, right now I'm thinking I may leave this one as is and just build a nice Ak in my spare time. This is the exact model I picked out.

whether you convert or not.....it is a great gun.....that said......in x39.....convert....get your 922 conversion parts and rock on.

if you got 308....well...get one additional US part.....and then buy US mags.....surfire....100% compliant.....nice....

Yep I got one and converted it a few months ago. It's a great rifle.

Ugly as sin, but I would go with an AR stock adapter from ACE and mount a real AR stock to it. It will also raise the 'centre line' of the rifle higher on your should and makes using optics a little easier-especially on forward mounts.

I have one on my SAR-3. I actually like it for iron sights, but E's right; you would lose your cheek weld if you're using optics with any rise to them. I have to fight to keep my head down on a bulgarian-style polymer fixed stock, but I'm getting better at it.
