The new AK has arrived
I still have to pick it up yet. The builder just sent me these pics. I was going to wait until Friday and post it, but since the media is bashing the AK right now, I thought I would celebrate.

It is a Polish kit on a OOW receiver with ACE sidefolder. Parked. Tantal style brake.

I spec'd it out, and got it for a little under $600, out the door. Some people will cringe at paying that much for an AK, but you need to consider that gave the guy a build sheet and told him EXACTLY how I wanted it. I wanted a Polish kit. I wanted that ACE Sidefolder. I wanted that wood, I wanted that muzzle brake, etc. Originally, that kit came with an underfolder. Didn't want it. He credited me for the under, and gave me the side folder.

Considering what some people are paying for gun show junk, I have no problem giving that money.

Beautiful! I love the wood and that's the kind of side folding stock I'd want to have. Is it 5.45?
