Meh, I might browse (and end up joining) over there if they felt like letting people see what's going on before they register. If they want to keep their threads a secret that badly they can keep them.
Plus, I just like it here better.

if i have an ar question i will ask here first.
one reason why i do that here instead of ar-15 forums is that i know the people here that know what they are talking about. if i go somewhere else i get answers from people that know what they are talking about and from the people that dont and i wouldn't know who to trust. my question is whats wrong with an ak47 section here? |

i don't think it is so much about finding the "best" or most info on the AK, but more along the lines of being in good company and have good discussions, not this is better because i have it and i said so, you gotta admit there are some great ppl on this board, and just because they are on an XD board doesn't mena they are ignorant of AKs. maybe they are AK experts and the xd is just a hobby? know what i mean. don't discount the advice on here just because it isn't aksuchandsuch.com

I also don't think that we all profess about being AK experts over here, but that doesn't mean we don't shoot them and don't enjoy sharing pictures or talking about them.
I'm sure the folks at the AK forum are great, but they don't get a monopoly on AK info. Just like the folks on the Harley forums don't get a monopoly on talking about bikes.
