I got one. An sgl-23. It shoots real straight. I get 6or7 inch groups at two hundred yards. Opensites. Its priced high, but in california, all guns are more. Even a century is 499.00 a wasr is 599 and why spend 600 + on a marginal gun. For a couple hundred more you,get a gun thats put together better, with a chrome lined barrel and has a lifetime guarantee. Plus its really accurate.

I'm sorry but 6-7 in group don't sound that good. If you are aiming center mass, that means you are gonna miss. I, too, am considering the Arsenal, however. Not planning on taking 200 yard shots with it.

Ive only had mine a few months arsenal sgl31, put more ammo through it than I paid for the gun.
If I was to do it all again, I'd go with arsenal, if you can find any in stock. Not that experienced yet , but working on it.

If your hitting an eight inch diameter metal gong at two hundred yards with ironsites, your hitting your target. Point being if your hitting the black cosistently on the two hundred yard range your hitting your target from a long distance. At one hundred yards its tattoo time center mass. Heres my question for for you: Would you stand out of cover at 200 yards while I aim at you and pull the trigger?

SGL21-94 (side folder) here! Very Nice gun. No quad rails, scopes or any of the other pretty stuff you see on ARs. This one will stay as is.

Those are exactly the things I am talking about. Care to share what kinds or brands of those you find work best?

You might want to get some magazines to go with the "clips".

The Bulgarian Circle 10 Mags, CLP Break Free cleaning kit & the Russian Silver Bear 7.62x39.

accessories are laughed at when seen on an AK, at least in my opinion

Sure, you'll probably be either cleaning it, or clearing a jam. None the less. We were talking ak's not ar's I qualified expert on the marine corp rifle range. I know well what an M-16 can do. I call my 200 yard groups on the large side because im not into trying to make things seem to sound too good. I use a shoot and see bull. I think its around 12 inch diameter. At 200 its pretty small. Yet without optics, on a bench I hit it conistently and to me that feels good. I like my rifle, and I hit what I aim at without optics at a reasonable distance. When I can afford it I'll get an A-2. Then I'll start competitive high power comps. Until then I got a reliable powerful battle rifle that is satisfying to shoot and effective for personal defence.
