Can you guys also tell what kind of AK it is and what has been done to it if its different? I can't tell a Russian from a Yugo to a Iranian AK so it would help me and I'm sure others who are looking to get one but don't know much about them.

laz i don't know much about them either, i know mine is a maadi misr imported by cai, everyone bags on the misr's from cai but mine is great. the previous owner effed up the sear so i replaced the whole trigger group with a tapco g2 and it shoots nice. i am sure there will be an AK guru along shortly. i am glad we have this here because i know it will be a much friendlier environment to ask questions than that OTHER gun site that.
i do know that there is no feeling like bump firing a mag into the berm. is it a waste, yes. is it accurate, of course not. is it fun, damn right!!! yaaaay first post in the sticky!!! Last edited by texas_rebel_1980; 02-19-2008 at 02:40 PM. Reason: yaaaaay |

How much do these different AK variations differ in price. How much does a maadi run? How much does a misr run?
