Forgot all about Wolf's 'new' poly ammo...haven't seen any Military Classic that wasn't green lacquer coated, I have about 5K rounds of Military classic....

You'll like the Surplus stuff.

i had some "older" MC from the gun store, and i just ordered two cases of it from AIM surplus, the old stuff was green lacqured cases but the new stuff i bought from AIM didnt have anything on the case cept the red fingernail polish around the bullet and the case.

i bought the MC being some what cheap, and the fact that it wasnt corrosive, but from all that i have read the bulgarian suplus stuff is the way to go.

ive read on the AK Forum that AIM prices are going up about 15$ a case or 30$ a crate in the next month or so and that was from an AIM rep that frequents the board (it was either AK forum or the AR15 forum). but I also read that it was going to be newer russian military surplus, i would guess that is just spectualtion/internet rumours lol

anyone seen the new 5.45x39 upper that S&W is putting out for there M&P!

I'm leaning hard toward the Polish Tantal in 5.45. Who did you buy it from and for how much if I might ask?

i bought it at a gunshow the guy wanted 650$ for it before taxes and call in fee., i talked him down to 560 and got it for 600 out the door. it came with all the junk that the internet dealers give you plus he threw in an extra romanian mag, it fits about like a round peg in a square hole but its an extra mag! lol

it was about 50$ more than i would have liked to pay for it but you know what they say about instant gratification

if you are after a tantal, i would go after this
one. for fifty bucks more base price, you get a quality build as opposed to a CAI gun.

any one know who makes the atlantic receivers?

seems to me the only diff between an atlantic and the CAI is the receiver. i have read about people having problems with there CAI Tantals keyholing at 100yards. the only problem ive had with mine was the extraction issues which im pretty sure i have worked the bugs out of that.

atlantic arms is just the dealer. they are Interarms receivers built on polish parts kits.

Interarms is an importer/distributor, they don't make AK receivers. It'll either be an OOW (ITM-not Interarms D.I.G), NoDakSpud, DCI or a left over Global Trades receiver. I've even seen Ewbanks receivers on them. They are the same gun, Century doesn't build the Tantals as far as I know....There are 2 at my buddy's shop, one from Century, one from Atlantic for a customer order-the same gun on an NDS receiver...
