There are a few magazines/followers that will block the bolt and hold it open on the last round when it's empty, but they are fairly rare and hard to find.
The one on the left is Chinese bho follower, and I ordered it from Polytech several years back.
If you notice, the hold open follower sits up much higher in the mag body

Wow, never seen a Chinese BHO mag, just Yugos.

Is that full auto, or are you bumpfiring?

The selector position being down would indicate semi auto and bump firing.

Just have an itchy trigger finger and this is the only way to scratch it.
Rapidly operating the trigger, from the reset point.
Not bump. Not auto. Just fast semi-auto.

PWS makes a muzzle brake that would help with the recoil. I thought of getting it for my Arsenal SGL21-61, but the stock one already does a pretty good job.
The FSC556 on my AR is excellent at managing recoil and keeping the gun on target. It's a muzzle brake and flash suppressor in one. For the AK:
PWS PWS_FSC_47 AK47 threaded 14x1 LH threads for AK-47 series
The first guy could have done better if he used is support hand, but for demonstration purposes, he didn't.

I dont think the bolt is supposed to lock back after the last round. Mine doesnt. As far as I know the AK isnt designed to do that.
