In a shtf scenario which we are talking about here, if you can't hit your target with an AK, I don't think an AR will make that much difference.

If your engaging your targets at 300 plus meters you either better have some back up or get ready to run like hell soon or have a good suppressor on your weapon, cause their probably going to find you and hunt you down.

In a scenario that caused all hell to break loose have a plan and people! Lone wolves will die! And you might need to fend off a team, where evac isn't the best option. So holding folks at bay out to 500 yards may be needed. News flash the 7.62 x 39 is adequate for this.
Best case don't mess with anyone hopefully they won't mess with you. If they do, you and your small community send hell. No mercy be the baddest meanest SOB's on the block. It may take doing terrible things but people will think twice before they mess around with your community again.
Point being if you can take someone out at 500 yards it will be demoralizing to their forces. So it's viable.

I always wanted to see an ak shooting 6.5 grendel thought it would be a good way to go, maybe borrow some of the trick from the cz58 in balancing the bolt.

that said I've never seen someone say they wish their rifle was less accurate. but the video goes with common knowledge m4 is good for 500m a4 550m and ak 350m
