Yep, wasn't able to remove the butt stock. Followed some directions I found on the web but it really does not budge. Unscrewed the retaining screw, tried to pry out with large flat bladed screw driver. Even banged a little with a big rubber mallet but no go. Just will not come out. I used as much force as I felt comfortable with for fear of damaging something if I was in fact missing some trick.
I don't need this off yet, just wanted to get familiar. However, I may be interested in a folding stock at some point so I would like to know I can get it off. I assume the folders are made (or some of them are) to attach to the gun the same way the original did with no modification needed? |

There are two retaining screws. One is outside the receiver, and the other is under the recoil spring retainer.
If you still can't move it, get a rubber hammer and whack the last inch of the butt stock on the top and bottom (alternate each whack). It'll eventually come out (once you get the two screws out). |
