they told one of my buddies that wanted to order 5 draco ak pistols that they wouldnt sell him 5 of them, that you had to be a dealer to buy 5. WTF? they advertise for you to buy 5 at a reduced price and dont say anything about dealers only. he doesnt even want all 5, its sort of like a group buy deal and he is just paying for all 5 with his credit card then the FFL will transfer to all of the different people. has anyone had this issue with them before? I dont remember classic pulling anything like this before. new owners behind this maybe?

I know they used to list those quantity prices as dealer specials, but they have taken that wording off recently. I did see one mention of quantity pricing being a dealer perogative (see last line, copied from classic's site) but that was it... Maybe your friends FFL can call and get the deal done for him?

ultimately they can do what they want, I just think it is very misleading if they wont sell the guns to him. it kind of saddens me, I thought classic was good people. I am going to call tomorrow and get an explanation.

always been good peoples to me and still use dot matrix printer

for reciepts lol but good folks.

It clearly states that you must have an FFL. So, unless your buddy has an FFL you need to have a dealer order them for you. The only problem here is that you and your buddy didn't read the description.

No.

If the buddy was paying for all of them, and having them shipped to an FFL, that is all that's required.

Lots of people do this all the time.

Yea, you're correct. My mistake. But it does come down to the company's discretion. Months ago I was planning on buying a about 10 AR lower recievers from AIM and when I went to place the order they limited me to I think 3 and said if i was a dealer there was no limit, so I just had my dealer order them for me. Seems that is what this guy should do as well.

thats quite different than the issue here. they advertise a special price for 5 or more but dont let you buy 5 or more?
