Just got my GSG-AK
It is build fairly well except for I wish there was a stronger stock joint.

Nice GSG, but man I've got a GSG5 and the screws suck. They strip out super quick. I imagine they use the same poor quality type screws in the AK. Perhaps rrages.com will come out for a screw set for the gsg ak?

It came with the synthetic stock.....You can get the wood, you can even buy a wood upgrade kit for it. There are several other aftermarket stock options like a folder.
My local gun shop got it in. I guess it came from Davidsons. I paid 350.00 for it because I guess the box was damaged. I have not taken it out yet to shoot it. That is on the schedule for this week. Overall, it is pretty solid for a plinker, certainly nothing for combat. The tough one is going to be find a couple more mags for it. They are spendy for certain. I have now just one more I want to add to my tacti-cool .22 collection...a Sig 522.

I just got mine this week and am planning on shooting it tomorrow. I think I am gonna buy a pumpkin and shoot it. And I plan on changing the gun to the collapsing stock. Perhaps a cheap airsoft reddot, or lol the eotech from my ar15 when I take it out.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but why is it called a mini-AK? It looks like it shares the same dimensions as any other AK.
