Great job!! I re-did the wood on my first AK in a dark shade of minwax stain, then clear-coated it with an aerosol can of krylon. Mine didn't turn out nearly as beutiful and glossy as yours, but it was a big improvement over the sloppy orange/red crap that originally was on there.

I went with the minwax stuff that the op used I have done 2 coats so far I think I'll go for 3 or 4 coats I went with old oak gloss
