AK Mag Rebuild Kits-- Do they exist somewhere?

I just ordered a bunch (7+3 for a friend) from AIM Surplus for $10 each + shipping.

They were surplus Romanian 30 rounders.

mine came in last week.

Pretty decent for the price.

Had a good bit of cosmo jammed up in the follower lip area. Sides were pretty greasy.

I just wiped each one with some xylene, then put some xylene in a tin can and with a tooth brush cleaned up the follower that was caked with dried cosmo.

I only inspected the inside of 3 of the 10 i ordered. They seemed to be rust free, with a nice thin oily covering. So i left them as is.

I might some day paint them or molyresin them some day if i am bored.

Good condition for the price i would say.

disregard the old sig. I just bought a 10 pack ($55.00) of replacement AK-47 mag springs from Wolf Springs. I thought I'd clean up and replace all my old mag's and springs...they are surplus and who knows where they've been.....?

44mag.com sells complete mags, but you have to pay an extra dollar or something and he disassembles them into rebuild kits. you can use whatever parts you need to replace and have spares for when the others parts go.
